St Peter's Church

As a Church of England School, we have a long association with St Peters Church, part of the Beverley Minster Parish. Events in the school year for Harvest, Christmas, Easter and Year 6 leavers are held at the Church for our pupils and their families. Some of the Events such as the Year 6 leavers service are very much led by the pupils themselves. All School Events at St Peters are detailed in the school  newsletter.

Woodmansey Parish Council

The Parish Council very much supports activities in School including Pedestrian Training for year 3 & 4 and our new sports pitch. They also offer opportunities for the children to participate in community activities such as street naming. We are very grateful for their continued support.

The Diocese of York

Beverley Minster

Woodmansey CE Primary School is proud to be a member of the York Diocese and Beverley Minster family. We work closely with the York Diocese to ensure we are providing high quality church school education and take part in their offers to visit York Minster.

We are regularly joined by Beverley Minster clergy to lead worship at church and in school and their faces and roles are familiar with the children. It is a wonderful family to be a part of and one which is wholly dedicated to providing the best in experiences for the children in our care.

Woodmansey Parent, teacher and Friends Association (PTFA)

Woodmansey Primary School PTFA is a registered charity which supports the school and the education of the children by developing effective relationships, engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment. A small committee deliver an annual programme of events and activities that brings the community together and raise funds. Recent support includes the refurbishment of FSU, installation of a Tri Sensory Garden, purchase of books, resources, equipment, educational visit costs and planting of 400 trees. The PTFA committee is currently fundraising to create 5 zones in the schools outdoor space.
