As a Church of England School, we have a long association with St Peters Church, part of the Beverley Minster Parish. Events in the school year for Harvest, Christmas, Easter and Year 6 leavers are held at the Church for our pupils and their families. Some of the Events such as the Year 6 leavers service are very much led by the pupils themselves. All School Events at St Peters are detailed in the school newsletter.
The Parish Council very much supports activities in School including Pedestrian Training for year 3 & 4 and our new sports pitch. They also offer opportunities for the children to participate in community activities such as street naming. We are very grateful for their continued support.
Woodlets is a volunteer led registered charity running weekly parent and toddler group in the school hall. Babies and children up to the age of 5 (and their parent/carers) participate in play, crafts and fun on a Thursday 1.30-3pm. Woodlets can also use the foundation and outdoor play areas when the school hall is in use for lessons. On the last session of the month the Woodlets are joined by the staff from the Beverley Children’s Centre who provide seasonal craft activities and ‘take and make’. Woodlets can be contacted via their facebook page or the school office.
