Curriculum

“Building Strong Foundations, Unlocking Potential” is the driver which underpins everything we do at Woodmansey CE Primary School. Our Christian Distinctiveness strengthens our aim of allowing all of our children to flourish, ‘I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.’ John 10:10.

PSHCE & RSE: We use ‘Jigsaw’ as a resource to ensure we are preparing children with the tools they need to build healthy and positive relationships, understand change, celebrate diversity, ask big and bold questions and ultimately to be confident citizens, now and in the future. Click below to download the Jigsaw overview.

Reading: The school uses a wide range of reading materials, including a lot of ‘real’ books.  The base scheme used is the “Oxford Reading Tree”, however many children will read from other books through our Guided Reading Programme.
