Today, Year 5 and 6 children have continued to display their superb art skills. The WW2 remembrance canvas paintings look spectacular and they add the finishing touches next week.

Today, Year 5/6 have made good progress with their WW2 artwork. Mrs Barber has given the children a masterclass on how to mix paint to create different shades and add texture.
Linking to their history theme – WW2 Battle of Britain – Year 5/6 have researched expressionist artist Jacqueline Hurley to begin their WW2 remembrance art masterpiece. Stay tuned to see how the pieces develop over the next few days.
