Mei Ling and Tien Kai serve tea to parents and grandparents, then receive hongbaos (money packets) in our Traditional Tea Ceremony role-play.

Who knew you could get so much maths from a madeleines recipe… counting in tens, doubling, measuring and weighing, spotting arrays in Madeleine tray moulds (3×3), estimating how many, and of course checking we have enough for everyone to eat one! Surely the yummiest maths session ever!

FSU create their own version of pétanque, and develop their estimation and measuring skills at the same time.
