We celebrated the end of our Diwali themed learning by learning, practising, and performing a dance to show how Hindu families prepare for and celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights.

This morning, KS1 had the visit of the local fire brigade. They showed us around their fire engine and we all got to ask lots of questions about their job and the apparatus used. We even got to use the fire hose! Apparently it was an epic and the best day ever!

We loved practising our fine motor skills to make Parkin Biscuits as part of our seasons and celebrations learning today…measuring, mixing, stirring, whisking…
