This week in guided reading we have been looking at some play scripts, today we were lucky enough to have some live readings and performances of some of the plays by the students in Year 4.

We have enjoyed learning about the toys children played with and some of the books they read in the 70s and 80s. Do you remember any of these?

The group continue to make adjustments and test their kites. More and more children want to join in… wish it was windier!

Making kites provided opportunities to practise fine motor skills with one handed tools, and created excitement around testing the kites and making adjustments…

We were so lucky to have Nadine and Anne come all the way from Lemgo, Germany to teach the children some music.

FSU demonstrate super chopping, grating, peeling and mixing skills. Lots of lovely concentration and discussion too.
