History Day
Today we celebrated 100 years of the BBC. Y1/2 learned about the Top of the Pops and even danced like Pan’s People. I’m sure you’ll agree that they all look amazing!
Signs of Autumn
This afternoon, KS1 went on a nature walk around our beautiful school grounds looking for signs of autumn. We spotted leaves (gold, yellow, orange, red, brown), fallen leaves, berries, apples growing, fungus… The children loved their outdoor learning.
Learning About Hieroglyphics
In class this week, we were learning about hieroglyphs and created some presentations to display our research.
KS1 Hand washing
Today we have had the visit from the School Nurse, who taught the children about how to wash their hands properly. They even got to use a special ‘germ’ potion tones if they could wash the germs off!
Teamwork In Y1/2
We have been learning about the Jewish festival of Sukkot. As part of this, we worked together to make Sukkahs, the huts that Jewish people build during Sukkot.
Amazing Portrait Artists
We have some amazing portrait artists in KS1.
