We’ve had a brilliant first day in York. The accommodation is fantastic, we’ve walked the city walls, stopped for ice cream, ‘done’ the Shambles, made and ate lashings of pasta and garlic bread for tea, devoured a huge Victoria sponge, went on a ghost walk and now we’re all having hot chocolate and chilling a bit before bed. There’s a lot of sleepy looking year 6 children and a few yawns from staff too. Everyone is having an amazing time, enjoying being in York and your kids are fabulous company. Oh yes and it hasn’t rained too much and the forecast is dry for tomorrow! Mrs Grainger x
