We have been bricklaying, using spirit levels and other tools, mixing cement, and learning about safety on the building site; as well as problem solving, having original ideas……the list goes on!

Humber Games Final
Year 5/6 were invited to play in the golf final at the Humber games!
This was a huge event held at Hymers College and we competed against schools in East Riding, Hull, North Lincolnshire and East Lincolnshire!
We have a great day out and it was such a privilege to be involved in such a great event!

KS1 Football Tournament
This term the KS1 children have been learning football. To put the skills into practice they took part in a football tournament.
The teams were France, Croatia, Belgium and England.
The children throughly enjoyed the tournament, some becoming more competitive by the minute.

KS1 Visit
On Monday KS1 had an amazing visit to Flamborough as part of their seaside topic.
The children made environmental art, using things found on the beach. We even met a real land artist while we were there!

A cricket taster for all
We were lucky enough for the whole school to have a taster at cricket lead by John Mayor from Yorkshire Cricket.
The younger children (year 1/2 and year 3/4) had a taster in ‘All Stars Cricket’ which is ran at the Beverley Cricket Ground. The children thoroughly enjoyed it as they practice their catching and batting skills.
With the year 5/6 children being too old to take part in All Stars Cricket, they had a chance to play a game of quick rapid cricket. The children loved it! Thank you to John Major for a great morning!
Playing cricket!
34 have been learning new cricketing skills with an exciting taster session in school.
