As we cleaned and spruced up our outdoor area, we found we were using our big muscle groups to carry heavy watering cans to the planters, and sweep away the soil with stiff brushes.

We worked together to create our obstacle course, then used a sand timer to time our journey around the circuit, then improve our times!

We practised sending and receiving. We thought about ‘big, catching hands’; eye contact with the ball and our partner!

We explored high and low, fast and slow, as well as loud and soft sounds with tuned and untuned percussion instruments.

KS1 had a brilliant time at Longcroft School, taking part in a sports event. The children behaved brilliantly and were a credit to the school.
