Sparks are flying in Years 5 and 6!
Today, we started to investigate how electricity was discovered and challenged ourselves to work out some electrical problems.
Amazing Artists
We have been learning to paint in the style of David Hockney in KS1. Each child was given a small section of one of Hockney’s paintings and had to mix the appropriate colours for their picture. I’m sure you will agree that we have some super artists in KS1!
FSU enjoy their Quadrilateral Hunt
FSU spent an afternoon hunting for quadrilaterals in our outdoor spaces, as part of our learning ‘all about four’. We found squares, rectangles, trapeziums, even spotting a rhombus amongst the willow structures! We noticed and counted four sides and vertices.

Really Wild Club in KS1
The children had a fantastic afternoon gardening this week. They worked brilliantly as a team.
Super Soup in KS1
We have been busy making soup today. The children washed, peeled and chopped the vegetables. When it was finished, we all sat down to try our warm, tasty soup.
