Year 5/6 were invited to visit The York Minster as part of the local diosece. We had a great time exploring the amazing cathedral!

Years 3 and 4 have been learning about how Jesus fed five thousand people with just two fishes and five loaves!
They re-told the story through drawing, Drama, a keynote presentation and by writing a diary.

The children enjoyed preparing their Christingle ahead of the Christingle Service. They showed great teamwork and understanding of the different elements of the Christingle.

Years 3 and 4 have enjoyed making Christingles with Mrs Scott.

What fun we had today solving maths problems and using our journals to show our working out!

Key stage 2 enjoying the Christmas party this afternoon…

The children have had lots of fun using Knex to create winding mechanisms as part of their DT work. Their winder must lift a fairy tale character and lower it. We have lots of budding engineers at Woodmansey Primary School!

Once again a magical evening had by all at Beverley Minster, performing ‘Christmas All Around The World’ alongside Molescroft Primary School. The KS2 children performed their parts beautifully and took part in their debut Ukulele performance in front of a full to bursting Beverley Minster. We are all very proud of them.

The true story of Christmas was told perfectly by our youngest children. The children spoke and sang beautifully, enchanting their audiences with the Nativity story.
